Zirconia (or zirconium dioxide) is a series of crystalline solids and white in color and be used as industrial ceramics. This type of metal oxides is characterized by its extremely high abrasion resistance, chemical stability, thermal resistivity, and anti-corrosion performance.
Zirconia is incredibly resistant to corrosion, abrasion, and stress from repetitive impacts, and it is an ideal option used for grinding, milling, and bearing applications. With low thermal conductivity, it is also an excellent material to function in high temperature environment, as it maintain the same properties up to 1800 ℉. Furthermore, due to its excellent biocompatibility and fatigue resistance, zirconia was widely applied in dentistry to fabricate crowns, bridges, and implants.
Working with leading engineering resources and production facilities, Agescan provides our customers with wide variety of industrial ceramic solutions from zirconia beads, valves, blades to other customized components.
Agescan’s zirconia beads were widely applied in industries such as papermaking, coating, electronic, battery manufacturing, etc. Zirconia beads offer superior load bearing and abrasion resistant capabilities. Our material properties are shown as below:
Based on the outstanding performance on abrasion resistance, self-lubrication, anti-corrosion and long durability, we also provide other solutions such as valves, tube and pipes, cutter blades, seal rings, bearing and bushings. Please send us your inquiries with technical specifications.
